civil war bitties

i finally got my civil war bitties put together. i will be doing a cream thin border then the blue that i used for the cornerstones as a bigger outer border. unless anyone has any better ideas??? thoughts on quilting this thing? without the borders its 10 x13.5", with them it will be 14.25" x 17.5". the blocks are 3" finished, and i out 1/2" finished sashing on

Those are adorable! Not sure on the quilting part. Are you hand or machine quilting it? I would say very simple quilting on such small blocks. I think I might quilt the sashing and borders and then see if the blocks needed anything.

this will be a cute little quilt! I agree with the previous comment, maybe just a little bit in the bloks if it is needed?

I would personally hand quilt sashing...looks like a lot of work went into this one...its hard to piece such small pieces. Very nice job!
